Dubuque Internal Medicine had the pleasure of having A.J. Imhof of Music With Styles, as the entertainment provider for our holiday party this year. A.J. came to meet with our planning committee prior to the event to talk about music and game options. He was very easy to work with. The night of the event, A.J. and Jeff were there, set up as planned and dressed in tuxedos! He checked in with me a couple of times to see how the night was going. He got the group dancing right away, had them participate in a dance contest and kept them dancing until midnight (end of the event). I would recommend him and Music With Styles for your next event.

As soon as we walked into our wedding reception, we knew we could expect a great performance by Music With STyles. The crowd was involved with the wedding procession into the hall and continued to enjoy their show throughout the night. Guests of all ages enjoyed the music that was expertly chosen; we heard so many great reviews! Especially impressive was a card we received saying “We haven’t danced like that in years”. We are sincerely grateful to the dj’s from Music With STyles for providing that experience for us and our guests. Everyone was entertained with a night of music and dancing that made our special night one that will always be remembered.

My husband and I recently just got married on September 27, 2008. We decided to go with Music With Styles for our DJ. I ran into A.J. Imhof at a bridal show and found out that he was doing a DJ service. A.J. and I went to high school together and then we had some college classes together at the University of Dubuque. There was no doubt in my mind; I was for sure going to go with Music With Styles as our DJ. A.J. always had a great personality in high school and we always got along. I always thought he did an excellent job when I used to hear him on the radio for Y105.
So, we hired him as our DJ and were nothing but impressed by him. He was always easy to get a hold of. He met with my Husband and me at our house and came very prepared. He had a lab top computer so we could listen to songs, he brought examples of top played wedding songs, and he listened to our ideas and helped us get a line up of songs. On the day of our wedding he did a fantastic job. He was easy to hear and understand by everyone at our reception hall. He really got the crowd into it and got them on the dance floor. He played the songs that we wanted him to. He was also very flexible for us. We decided to have our reception go longer and he had no problem staying later than what was originally agreed upon.
Music with Styles is a first-rate DJ service. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a DJ service. I can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed with him. We just loved Music With Styles and so did our guests.

I am writing to highly recommend Music With Styles for your next event. I am the student council advisor at East Dubuque High School and we hired Music With Styles for our Homecoming dance in the fall of 2009. AJ and his staff have been the most professional DJ service we have ever hired. They were on time and also set up well in advance of the dance. I have hired other DJ services who were late and rather unprofessional. Music With Styles uses modern equipment. The speakers appeared to be up to date and the lighting system was the best I have seen. He contacted me several weeks before the event to go over appropriate songs and to be sure we were comfortable with the music being played.
I was blown away by the student response to Music With Styles. I believe the student participation in our Homecoming dance this past year was by far the most active and enthusiastic I have ever seen while chaperoning a dance. I often ask students following a dance to give me some input on what they thought of the DJ, and here are a few responses:
“The music was current and they played the right mixture of fast and slow songs.”
“I loved the fact they had someone there to take our requests. They definitely played what we wanted.”
